We are blessed to be able to share a library with Hobe Sound Bible College. Our library system is divided into two sections – resources specifically for grades pre-kindergarten through sixth are housed in one location while junior high and high school have access to a separate library facility.

The library system exists to serve the students and faculty of HSCA, as well as the wider community, by supporting the curriculum and enhancing the teaching/learning process. Our collections consist of more than 30,000 books and periodicals, with special strengths in the areas of religion, Bible, theology, and Christian education. The library also houses the Albert Barr Earth Sciences Collection, a unique and growing resource consisting of several thousand mineral and fossil specimens, a number of which are on permanent display along the east and west walls of the library. According to the Educational Testing Service, students who do more reading at home are better readers and have higher math scores. Statistics also show that, although 70% of middle school students read 10+ books each year, only 49% of high school students do so. This demonstrates the value of encouraging our children to read!

The library system exists to provide a variety of reading materials for kids of all ages! Within the elementary department, there are three sections of books: Easy Readers, Fiction, and Non-fiction. With just over 5,700 titles in this department alone, we strive to supply quality books that will appeal to our students’ interests, hobbies, and academics.
