Mission

Hobe Sound Christian Academy seeks to provide a Christ-centered education that trains the whole person intellectually, socially, and spiritually to be a servant leader in today’s society.

Vision

Following Christ’s call to excellence, Hobe Sound Christian Academy aspires to be an exemplary Christian school characterized by Christ-like faculty and students, innovative and engaging curricula and teaching practices, well-rounded programs, and appropriate facilities. HSCA endeavors to foster a nurturing, mutually supportive school community of students who enthusiastically pursue learning and Christian character, parents who wholeheartedly support the school’s mission, Bible-believing churches who actively reinforce a biblical worldview, and qualified, caring Christian faculty and staff who sacrificially invest in the lives of students. Ultimately, HSCA desires to challenge students to reach their unique potential spiritually, academically, and socially and prepare and inspire them to impact their world for Christ through a life of service to Him.

Core Values

Relationship with Jesus Christ. HSCA strives to be Christ-centered in all aspects of the learning environment. Classroom content is grounded in a Biblical worldview and emphasizes a meaningful relationship with Christ.

John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

Relationship with fellow man. HSCA believes in following the example of Christ’s life of service to others. Students should demonstrate the qualities of good citizenship through service to their church, local community, and nation.

Matthew 20:27-28 “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister.”

Academic achievement. HSCA believes that excellence and a well-developed mind honor God and inspire people. Hard work, critical thinking, and a love of reading are components of a good education that extend beyond test scores and grade point averages.

Philippians 1:9-10 “And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may approve things that are excellent.”

Character and integrity. HSCA challenges students to develop Christ-like character and high standards of personal integrity. The attributes of the life of Christ are emphasized in all aspects of school life.

I John 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as [Christ] walked.”

Servant leadership. HSCA emphasizes the cultivation of skills that allow students to be servant leaders to others. Servant leaders place the needs of others first and help others develop the abilities needed to succeed.

Luke 22:26 “He that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.”
