Danny and Mary (McCoy) McCain both graduated from Hobe Sound Christian Academy in 1969. Before they moved to Nigeria, Dr. McCain served as a pastor, principal, and prison chaplain.

In 1988, Danny, Mary and their three children moved to Nigeria and over thirty years later, they continue to serve there! During this time Dr. McCain has written eighteen books and eleven training manuals with Mrs. McCain serving as his editor.

Danny is the founder of the International Ambassador of Global Scholars, an organization that helps recruit and place Christian academics in public universities around the world.

The McCains lived first in Port Harcourt, then moved to Jos where they are today. Dr. McCain began the Diploma in Christian Studies program at University of Jos and continues to teach classes there.Mrs. McCain has served for many years with Bible Study Fellowship in Nigeria. She also handled the bookkeeping for the in-service training program and other projects. During the 2001 Jos Crisis the McCain home became a camp for displaced people. Over seventy people slept in their home, and Mrs. McCain led a team in feeding 150 people each day.
